The Fairmont staff shares a commitment to work in partnership with families and community members to prepare our students to be compassionate, thinking, creative, and responsible citizens of a global society in the 21st century. Our goals for each child are: 1) to meet or exceed grade level State standards and 2) to graduate from the sixth grade prepared to make good choices, act responsibly, and continue successful learning in middle school and beyond.
Our school was rebuilt in 2009. The new 53,000 square foot building that meets LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) standards for a green and sustainable design. See the About Fairmont page for more information on the school's history and construction.

Sierra Vista K-8 school still has space available in all grades for the 2016-2017 school year. The school will offer a small school community environment with a focus on academic rigor and higher education after high school.
Sierra Vista K-8 is open to all Vacaville students. VUSD hopes to enroll a minimum of twenty 8th grade students to fill a class.
Sierra Vista K-8 enrollment applications may be downloaded here or picked up at Educational Services Center (ESC) at 401 Nut Tree Rd. All packets should be returned to ESC. Enrollment applications will be date stamped and processed in the order in which they are received until school capacity is met.

Parents/grandparents and guardians who would like to volunteer in Fairmont classrooms should talk with the child's teacher, and then complete the volunteer form below and return it to the principal.
